Styled Shoot: Grecian Beauty

On a rainy day in February, Be Wed brought to life a photoshoot taking elements from the beauty and culture of coastal Greece. The shoot happened in the European inspired courtyard at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature. All photography taken by Everence Photography using a mix of digital and film.

The florals were also done by Be Wed via their new floral department aptly named Be Wed Blooms.

Over The Top Rental Linens provided their perfectly themed Ashley Blue pattern linens available for rent nationwide here.

A Chair Affair helped bring together the look with their White French Country Chairs, farm table, plate and glassware.

Truly Forever Bridal provided the bridal wear for the shoot with hair and makeup from Femme Akoi Beauty Studio. Models were real life couple Eric Alsing and Tori India.

After the photoshoot ended, a collective of local vendors gathered to network and check out the space all set up.

Enlightened Monkeys projected everchanging scenes from Greece all around the courtyard and in hidden spaces. Three volunteers from Manatee Performing Arts Center performed an ABBA medley as their on-stage characters from their recent production of Mamma Mia.

Mattisons Catering provided an incredible spread of Mediterranean food along with a specialty blue “Windex” cocktail inspired by the film “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. Jam All Day Entertainment provided the soundtrack to the evening, consisting mainly of ABBA tunes. Special thanks to the St. Barbara Hellenic Folk Dance Group who welcomed guests with very special performance.
