Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders, or SWEL, focuses on helping strengthen businesses through top quality networking events, education and connecting members to prospective couples and clients.

We are located in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Not local to Sarasota? No problem! You’ll be in good company as SWEL draws members from surrounding markets like Naples, Ft. Myers, St Petersburg, Tampa and Orlando.

Members of SWEL are more than just vendors buying tickets to incredible events. They are visionaries, innovators and creators making fantastic experiences for their clients. SWEL members are building their businesses while simultaneously building a community. They are staying on top of trends, growing their networks, and continually updating their best practices in an ever-changing industry.

Our members do more than trade business cards. They trade knowledge while developing relationships that transcend event day. And mostly, they are leaders.

Membership includes:

  • Admission for 2 employees to a monthly event, taking place the second week of the month.  Most of these events will be held in Sarasota/Bradenton. 10 events per year.

  • Listing on suncoastweddingsandevents.com

  • Listing in the printed Suncoast Wedding & Events Guide (must be a member by January 8th).

  • Showcasing opportunities at events and online

  • Discounts off additional SWEL Experiences. Examples from the past include kayak trips, trolley tours and other unique ways of networking

  • Discounts on and access to advertising in the annual printed guide with 5000+ copies being distributed.

  • Minimum of 5 educational seminars throughout the year plus access to all recordings of previous education.

Ask about pro-rated rates throughout the year! Members joining after January, who are paying a prorated rate, will not be featured in the guide as it is an annual publication.

 

2024 Membership

New Member $475 (or two payments of $275 for qualifying members)

Returning Member $440 (or two payments of $225 for qualifying members)

All memberships run through the end of the calendar year.

Memberships can be paid annually or in two installment payments. Installment payments are only available for companies that employ 5 or less people (both full and part-time including owners) and does not apply when joining at a pro-rated fee.

Payments due January 11th and March 1st, 2024. Returning Members must renew by November 1, 2023 to receive returning member pricing.

2024 Advertising Rate (SOLD OUT)

GUIDE: The 60-page guide features articles, styled shoots, real weddings and a listing of all our members. 7500+ copies will be distributed at wedding shows, jewelry stores, bridal salons, venues and many other wedding and event storefronts. An online version is also available.

ALL members will be listed in the guide at no additional cost.

Back Cover $1199 - 8.5 x 11 + bleed

$50 discount for returning advertisers (members only)

$25 discount for returning advertisers who re-run the same ad (members only)

Non-Members* add $200 to quarter, half and full-page options above.

Ads due print-ready by December 8th, 2023. Ads should be a 300 DPI or higher and in PDF format.

Fee does not include ad design
